There are many "myths" regarding "non-prepped" veneers, specifically Lumineers. Concerns have been voiced in educational classes, laboratories, published articles, and advertising as to whether a lifelike appearance can be preserved. Worry for the emergence profile, periodontal health, the ability to modify shades and occlusion, and the performance of "instant" orthodontics are the focus of some of these concerns.
